West Clovernook supports Venice Arts Center

On Saturday March 26th, the West Clovernook Society came out to show their support for the Venice Arts Center. Founding members Jaclyn Ferber, Deborah Cloyed, Bianca Smith, Katie Erlandson, Melissa Varon and guests attended the Speakeasy Event at The Townhouse's Newly Remolded Basement Lounge. Attendees enjoyed saucy and delicious food by Baby Blue BBQ and Venice Beach Wines and learned a little about fine Whiskey with a complimentary 4 shot tasting.

Attendees bid on new photos by Venice Arts' Students with all proceeds supporting the Youth Art Intern Program, placing low-income teens in internships at local creative businesses. The Venice Arts Center is non-profit organization based in Venice, California providing photography, film and media arts in low-income & underrepresented communities. Visit: www.venice-arts.org.

Katie bid on and won this photo "Tiny Dancer" taken by 16 year old Genevieve Ward. Genevieve is now a senior in high school and has been taking classes at Venice Arts Center since she was 13. Genevieve is currently working as an intern with Anonymous Content, a media production and management company specializing in feature films, commercials and music videos.

We love the good work done at the Venice Arts Center and look forward to continuing to show our support for this great organization!
